  • A recording of our Spring 2024 webinar “How to Support Families Coping with Medical Trauma: Introduction for Mental Health Providers,” has been published in the catalogue of online courses. Participants are eligible for 1.0 APA CE credits courtesy of ISTSS: The International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS) is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists.
  • We have also updated updated our therapist resource guide:  “Working with Children and Families Experiencing Medical Traumatic Stress: A Resource Guide for Psychosocial Professionals”. This guide is based in the most recent research and is designed to help psychosocial professionals who are working with children and families impacted by illness or injury. 
  • Additionally, CPTS maintains a national referral directory of mental health providers who are knowledgeable in treating children and/or families experiencing medical traumatic stress.
